Dozens of friends gathered Saturday night for a memorial ride down North Avenue to the spot where their friend 26-year-old Nicholas J. Jacobson was killed.Jacobson was attempting to make a left-hand turn when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle. It happened Thursday night at the intersection of I-70 B and North Avenue in Grand Junction.
